LiftLog ("the app") is a personal lifting tracker for iPhone. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it's used, and your choices. The app is developed by Mallory Brame (the "developer").
When you create an account and use the app, the following is stored:
The app does not collect location, contacts, photos, health/fitness data from Apple Health, advertising identifiers, device identifiers for tracking, crash reports, or analytics about how you use the app.
Your data is used solely to provide the app's features: signing you in, syncing your workouts across your devices, and displaying your history, charts, and personal records back to you. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.
Your workout data is private to your account. The developer does not access individual accounts' data except where strictly necessary to investigate a bug you've reported or comply with a legal request.
The app uses Google's Firebase platform to handle authentication and store your data:
Firebase processes this data on Google's infrastructure under Google's privacy and security terms. See Google's Firebase privacy information and Google Privacy Policy for details.
The app does not share your data with any other third parties, and does not sell your data.
Your account and data are retained for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account (see below), the developer deletes your profile, workouts, body weight entries, and PRs from the database. Authentication records may persist briefly in Firebase Authentication backups before being purged on Google's standard schedule.
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: open Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all data associated with it.
If you can't access the app for any reason, you can also email mallorybrame@gmail.com from the address tied to your account and request deletion.
LiftLog is not directed at children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, please email the address below so the account can be removed.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change and the new version will be posted at this URL. Material changes will also be surfaced inside the app.
